Swengland Beach Resort

Very good hotel, great location and amazing views over the sea and the bay. The place is very quiet and peaceful, just 15 minutes walking from Sabang. The rooms are spacious and very clean, they have A.C. or fan. WiFi connection is good. You can dive, there is a dive center in the resort, or you can snorkel just in front of the resort. The staff are very helpful and warm and Thomas, the manager, made me feel like at home, he is very open and frienly, a very nice guy. Swengland was the place I was looking at staying 5 relaxing days...

We stayed in a few hotels during our stay in Puerta Galera. This hotel was clean and half the price of any hotel in Laguna. Great place for half the price. The wifi connection wasn't great, but you can't beat the beach front view. We enjoyed our quite stay at Swengland!

I love to Scuba Dive and Sabang has some of the World's Best Divesites (CNN 2014). When looking for affordable yet decent accomodations, Swengland gives the best bang for your buck. The hotel itself does not provide diving services but it is right on the beach beside numerous dive shops. The beachfront is clean which is great for kids to play during family vacations. The beachfront itself is sheltered from strong waves because it is part of Big La Laguna Cove in Sabang. The house reef is great for Diving or Snorkeling and features a resident Green Leatherback Sea Turtle that feeds on the sea grass at 10 feet. It also features both natural and man-made reefs that are teeming with life. You can arrange for special meels to be prepared by the staff, or if you are into fishing, the staff can prepare your catch and serve it to you however you like it. If you are by yourself or with your significant other, even with a small child, the PHP1300 rooms are adequate. The hotel provides an electric water heater for coffee but does not provide instant coffee nor complimentary bottled water. You can request for ice at the bar.
