Islands View Inn

We were set to fly back to Manila early in the morning, but due to bad weather and heavy rain, our flight was cancelled. With no other choice, we had to stay one more night and booked this hotel. We arrived around 10 AM and asked if we could check in early since we planned to check out early the next day as well. The staff informed us that early check-in is only possible with an additional charge of ₱200 per hour (standard check-in is 2 PM). This policy was quite disappointing, especially since in our previous visits to Coron, most hotels accommodate early check-in as soon as rooms are ready without extra fees. Because of this, we decided to book another hotel nearby instead. If you’re arriving early in Coron on your check-in day, I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel charges ₱200 per hour for early check-in, while many other hotels in Coron allow guests to check in as soon as the room is ready at no extra cost. If you’re arriving in Coron early on your check-in day, I do not recommend staying at this hotel.

Don’t stay here unless you want to be woken up before 7:30 by loud people, motorcycles, and marching bands as it’s a very noisy area. No internet, despite what trip advisor says, which wouldn’t be as much of a problem if it wasn’t also a cellular data dead spot. Room was clean, location is good if you want to have quick access to restaurants and the port, but I would not recommend this place.
