Nitivos is a local, Filipino-owned resort along a string of beachfront resorts mostly owned by Chinese nationals. It is located at the northern outskirts of Puerto Princesa, around 1 1/2 - 2 hours from the city center along the highway that stretches until El Nido.
This is a quiet and peaceful place -- great if you are just looking to chill-out and if you're not being tour-hungry. Elena and her staff are very helpful and they tell interesting stories. You could also ask them to bring you around the area.
The beach is not jawdropping but a good thing to do here is hire a boat from one of the locals. There are great snorkeling areas within a kilometer from the beach, near some of the local seaweed farms.
Again, great place if you are allergic to too many people.

....this resort is perfect to relax. It is close to ocean and many places to relax. We were spoil by dishes from Elend and sometimes walk to Shop down the street. WiFi is available at the bar and room are convinient for a longer stay. I stayed here for 4 days and felt great.
