Novie's Tourist Inn

I don’t want to be too harsh about this hotel as it has some great aspects but the room was disappointing. You come into the restaurant from the street, at which point you finally see the hotel name! Up a flight of stairs to the reception which is vey spacious and comfortable. There is a fridge there where you can buy drinks. To get to the room you walk up a lot of steps through a lush garden path. My room was fairly high up from the entry balcony there was a lovely sea view. The room was very disappointing with few amenities and when there was water the pressure was extremely low and only cold. The electrical wiring left a lot to be desired! I had to ask for fresh towels on the third day. The restaurant offered great food, I would certainly recommend the Chicken Tinola soup and Lomi which both come in lovely pots and would easily satisfy four people. Coffee was amazing and the bar and staff provided great service and some lovely cocktails. There was live music early in the evening and music continued through the evening. Location is about half way between El Nido Town and Maremegmeg beach(where the zip wire is and best sunset viewing location). Wonderful, pleasant and helpful staff.

Welcome and very friendly support from the team, with special mention for Maria , very kind and professional! Value for money very good. Room surrounded by nature away from the noise of the road. Wifi sometimes failed but everything else was fine! Great memory of the last 7 nights! Under renovation. Ideally located, not too far from the center... 5 minutes, but quiet!

You get what you paid for. We booked our trip as package so we have no choice to Stay or leave. Room are very small. We had a single bed for 2 person. So me and my hubby are fighting over space. 😆 🤣 so I requested an extra bed at no cost. So I end up sleeping on the floor which they provide pillows and beddings 👍. Breakfast are not OK but it's free why not! Atleast we eat before heading out for a day tour. But do not expect the food will be hot, not sure how long it's been seating in the kitchen, and be prepared to bring cash or bring along drinks with you ( not included even water). Staff are ok there very helpful and accommodating on our needs. Otherwise are stayed are ok if you don't expect the luxury staycation.
