Upon arrival we had a sense of dread as there was a railway line running right along side the hotel! The trains were constant, running in, then out of Krakow main train station!
Our room was right next to the luggage room so people were constantly right outside our door!
The breakfast was bread and salad! Or hotdog sausages and runny scrambled eggs. I had to request the toaster one morning as it hasn’t been put out. The staff were very rude when I asked but they did go and get it.
None of the staff were helpful or friendly, you felt like you were inconveniencing them if you asked anything.
The rooms were dark and not very inviting, two single beds pushed together with two single quilts, very low to the ground.
There was no lounge or bar to relax in of an evening so the rooms could have been more inviting! No milk at all and the coffee and tea were not topped up at all so we went and bought our own. There was a dirty sock left in our room from the people before us.
We also had the mis fortune of a school trip staying one of the nights so it was very loud with young teenagers running up and down corridors and stairs and blocking them all off when you needed to pass.
