Crown Piast Hotel and SPA

It started with the hotel enrolling one adult and one child, instead of two adults and one child. Even though we booked through travel agency. The hotel wouldn't correct. They finally offered a crib. The baby was longer than the bed! Spa was closed (we had not received info) We weren't allowed to have dinner at the hotel for that had to be booked on the day of arrival. No one told me about this. We got 2 breakfast ist for 3 on the day of departure. The worst was that they promised to book a taxi to the flight in the morning. They had forgotten!! The hotel is run down and not so interested in its guests. The anvil was nice. Not recommended. Don't spec in the off-season.

I stayed at this hotel which looks like a 5 star, but the experience was far from that level. The property is visibly dated, with rooms that smelled strongly of fresh paint, making the stay unpleasant and unhealthy. Breakfast was one of the most disappointing moments: the offer was measly, with no fruit or napkins, with dirty tables that I had to solicit several times to clean. There were only two waitresses in the room who, in addition to waiting tables, also took care of the preparation in the kitchen — evidently insufficient to handle the influx of guests. The buffet was poorly stocked and unhygienic: there was no individual cutlery for each dish and everyone ended up touching the food with their hands. A truly unpleasant experience. Honestly, I wonder by what criteria this establishment has been awarded the fifth star. To be generous, maybe he deserves two. I will not return and would not recommend it.
