EXPRESS BY HOLIDAY INN

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was advertised as 4* however, unfortunately it did not come close. Firstly the rooms were so hot, the air conditioning did not work and when asking at reception for it to be looked at we were told someone would look at it, however, this never happened. We spent three nights absolutely dripping with sweat. Secondly, we could not shower after each other in the room. The bottom of the shower filled with water and took a while to drain away so if one person went in after the other, the bottom of the shower would spill over. The beds are absolutely tiny, roughly s 3/4 double and the room, although clean, was dark, outdated and bare. There was no fridge to keep any water or food cool. Lastly, this is not the hotels fault but our travel agents fault. The hotel is listed as krakow city centre however, it was a 15 minute taxi ride to the main square. Krakow was lovely but this hotel really disappointed unfortunately.

Avoid this hotel. Inflexible with bookings. Unhelpful and unresponsive

Lovely, clean hotel. We have just returned from a 4 night stay here. We had the best experience here. The staff were very helpful, the rooms were spotless. Close to the airport. Was about a 5k walk in to the old town which we visited every day- we walked it once but the rest of time only cost about £3.50 in an Uber. About a 10min walk to the train station also which is handy. We didn’t use the restaurant which is located at the hotel next door. The swimming pool and sauna are also at the other hotel and costs about £4 to access this but it’s just a short walk across the car park and we had the place to ourselves. It has a couple of shops and restaurants near by but apart from that not too much around but If you are comfortable using Ubers then it is not a problem. We would definitely return.
