I wrote to the management of this hotel to inquire about a booking made in error -- they never had the courtesy to get back to me. As a result, I was CHARGED for a stay that I never had. Bad business practice!

stayed here for 4 nights and was perfect. Very clean room nice bedding, good tv and nice bathroom with easy shower. They leave you new bottles of water in your room every morning. Staff were very nice. The jewish quarter came alive at weekends with the bars and restaurants and the sales on the square. Would stay there again without a doubt

Myself and a couple of friends stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is lovely ideally situated round the corner from the old market square. The bars and restaurants within the area are plenty and a relatively short walk away (there is a lot of street/road works going on right now with the new tram line system being laid, they were also doing this 2 years ago when we came here so it's not going to be finished anytime soon) with many areas not ideally suitable for the elderly, wheelchairs, pushchairs, is the main city square which is beautiful and as it's the Christmas market here right now there is plenty of feel good surroundings. We have visited Krakow several times, we love this City. My issues with the hotel are: 1, the mattresses in the rooms are hard, not comfortable an neither are the pull out beds. 2, the Reception. As our room, room number 1 is situated right next to the reception desk it is not an ideal guest room. As you are aware if anyone needs anything or checks in or out they all attend the desk. No one is considerate of the fact that there is a guest room right next to the reception and proceed to speak/laugh in usual volume of voice whatever the time, which during the night and early morning is not a great guest experience. Guests coming and going can almost be forgiven for this oversight but the hotel reception staff cannot. They proceed to do their job with no consideration of noise whilst their at their desk even when it is pointed out to them that it is extremly early and their noise levels whilst at the desk was too high, they continue to go about their job regardless. The only other thing I would take into consideration if possibly looking to stay here, and this is not a complaint more of an an advisory, is like many of the more independent smaller hotels there is a fair amount of stairs with no lift, whilst this wasnt an issue for us, for others it may be.
