Zodiakus Hostel

It was really nice to stay at this hostel. Especially the location is really nice. When comparing the price and the conditions, i can say Zodiakus is good for staying. Beds could be more comfortable...

The hostel was kept very clean. The staff were lovely and the location is perfect (close to the city center and bus/train stations). The breakfast was nice but not very varied (buffet-style). Highly recommend for solo female travelers (female dorm).

I was looking for somewhere near the bus station with space and this wouldn't have been my first choice by far. Th e reviews I had read on Hostelbookers about the hard beds and thin mattresses were true so I had to leave after 2 nights as my old back problems were flaring up again. Luckily I wasn't bothered by the noise of the trams and cars on the road outside like some people but had to use my towel and a pashmina to supplement the mnimal hear from the pathetically thin duvets. The hostel still feels like someone's granny's flat which adds atmosphere if you like that sort of thing. The kitchen/seating area was a bit cramped with old but comfy sofas. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was clean. Breakfast, which was included, was excellent. Cereal, bread and all sorts of salad like dishes plus jam and nutella with pancakes on the first morning. Excelleny location for getting to the coach/railway stations and the old town/main square. Over priced though for what is is. Trying to do things on the cheap but overcharging for it.
