The apartment on Svietojanska is like a goodlooking husband; first you can't believe your luck in having landed on such a prince, but on a longer acquintance small things begin to get on your nerves.
The great thing about the apartment is the location in the old town. The apartment is also well equipped and suited well for our group of three mature ladies.
However, the apartment needs more careful maintenance. The most annoying thing was the bed that creaked disturbingly when one as much as moved their foot. A careful inspection showed that one board was broken. Another point is the toilet door handle that was loose, the same as the shower holder. One really doesn't want to spend their holidays fixing little problems. We reported a few problems on the first night and were promised that they'd be seen to, but nothing happened. By the way, we finally found the extra blanket under the bed on the morning of our departure
A light sleeper may also find the noise from the streets disturbing. Considering this, it's strange that you are warned even before your arrival not to bang the door, but this might have something to do with the upstairs neigbour, who we met one night. Maybe the problem is in her nerves; banging, however, could be easily stopped by using insulator tape.
In conclusion, if the small problems were fixed, the apartment would be as good as the first impression, and truly excellent value for money
