The staff are friendly and our room was spacious. However, the beds were uncomfortable, and some pieces of furniture were damaged or not fastened properly. The Wi-Fi was very weak and the connection occasionally dropped. Breakfast was fine.

Brilliant staff, hotel with soul, no matter how it's look. Team friendly, food like at home. More better than "new type hotels" with metal walls and plastic floor apartments !!!
Restaurant food like "Zurek" perfect, everyone responsible and responsible.

One of the worst hotels, if not the worst, I have ever stayed in! To flee ! The rooms are from a long-gone era and the carpet must still retain the dust of communist boots. The only sign of modernity is the presence, just in front of the hotel, less than 10 meters as the crow flies, of a real urban highway, very busy day and night and whose noise level must be on average around of 90/100 dBs. Note that the majority of rooms are located at the front of the hotel and therefore face this urban highway (a few rooms face the rear, but they are rooms with single beds). So, if you like to sleep with the windows open, go ahead, the noise is unbearable and prevents you from sleeping. During our stay, temperatures averaged 30°/32°. Having to "sleep" with the windows closed in such conditions is real torture (40° or more in the room and no air, the feeling of suffocation). Of course, given the era of the hotel, no air conditioning. Not even a fan. To the noise, you add the pollution rate which must reach values beyond the norm for an EU country, in any case dangerous for health. By the end of our stay, my wife and I both had scratchy throats and developed a dry cough.
The sense of hospitality is an unknown concept in Arkadia. It's actually a hotel for people passing through. The vast majority of customers are local customers who only stay there for one night, two maximum and whose means do not allow for more decent establishments. People like us who come from abroad and stay there for five nights in a row are rare, if not entirely exceptional. This of course does not entitle us to preferential treatment, but from there to giving us the worst room in the hotel… When we discovered it, my wife and I, we understood why we had to pay for the room advance (so)… A tiny window which only opens by tilting and turning (and on condition of climbing on a chair to reach the handle) and located just behind the neon “hotel”… One of the walls of the room was also one of the walls of the elevator shaft, the slightest movement of which (like the music broadcast there) was audible inside the room. A horror ! Reluctantly (I want to point out), the staff agreed to give us another room, but we did not obtain it until the next day. Not ideal, but at least we got rid of that elevator noise.
As if all this wasn't already enough, it should also be mentioned that our room was not visited by cleaning staff during our entire stay. Nothing was done in the room during the time we spent there! Personally, I can live very well with the same sheets and the same bathroom linen for a few days. No problem. On the other hand, I would have greatly appreciated if, for hygiene reasons, this carpet from another age was vacuumed regularly! Fortunately that wasn't the case, but if we had run out of toilet paper, we would have had to go to reception and beg for a roll…
Other points of dissatisfaction (almost anecdotal compared to what has just been described): The bed sheets are too small/The box springs must have experienced communism/The water in the shower is never really hot/On the small side -lunch, lots of cold meats but fatty and of poor quality/…
The hotel supposedly offered us a drink for the inconvenience of changing rooms, a drink which ended up being charged to us upon check-out…
A hotel from another time with service from another time.
The best moment of our stay: when we left Arkadia.
In summary: a terrible memory.
