Based on my notes, I arrived at Dworzec Autobusowy Metro Wilanowska in Warsaw from Budapest on 07th October 2016 at around 21.00 with the Polski Bus. There was no direct tram and bus to Gromada Airport Hotel from the bus station. Furthermore, taxis and buses were not available at such hour. There was a kiosk nearby which sold public transport ticket. However, the kiosk attendant was not English conversant and so did most of the people who visited the kiosk. After much praying, thankfully , a kind elderly gentleman visited the kiosk , later on. He understood English and helped me to buy the 75-minute single ticket ( 4.40 PLN ) and a daily ticket ( 15 PLN ). He also lead the way to the nearby train station which took around 10 minutes to walk and then all of us boarded the train to the Warszawa Centralna railway station. The kind gentleman then waited in the tram stop nearby the central station to make sure that I boarded the tram safely to the Gromada Airport Hotel. I saw him from the tram window returning back to the train station. I arrived at the hotel at nearly 22.00. Since, I had not had any meal since lunch time, I went directly into the hotel restaurant which was nearly closed. Thankfully, the kind restaurant manager allowed me to have dinner in the restaurant. There were only a variety of soups available and I ordered them all , much to the restaurant manager's surprise and amusement. The room was clean and the room key was still a typical one applied in the early 1980's. There was a mini market in the hotel near the receptionist. The tram trip from the hotel to Warszawa Centrum took around 10 - 15 minutes whereas the tram ride to the Frederic Chopin Airport took around 5 - 10 minutes. Some of the receptionist were professional. However, on my last day ( 09th October 2016 ) in the Polish capital city ,some of the senior ladies in the receptionist area were a bit impatient in replying some of my questions. Well, I took it lightly, since I was finally had the opportunity to visit the country of Maria Sklodowska Curie, F. Chopin and Nicolaus Copernicus. Overall, this hotel is suitable for budget traveller arriving by air in Warszawa and does not mind staying in a place which was a bit outdated.

The hotel is very close to the airport which is great. It is also one bus ride away to the city center if you want to kill some time. The only reason i am giving this a 4 star is because there were hairs on the bathtub when we checked in. The interior or the room looked dated but for the price i cant really complain.

Hotel is located very close to the aiport. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast good, but.... the old part of the hotel is really old... including tv in the room, kettle and bed. I stay here often and would like to use this opportunity to ask new owner for new mattresses on the beds please! After long plane journey I would love to have a good night sleep.
