Best Western Hotel Zubrowka

I've been coming here with my family every winter since 2012. Unfortunately, the last time we were there as a family was after the introduction of adult-only pool hours. Wanting to reestablish a family tradition, I went alone this time with my partner, we stayed for three nights, and I don't know who was more disappointed. The hotel's stagnation is clearly evident. It is also not intended for families with children. Entry to the pool complex is 18+ after 7 PM, and instead, they offer a playroom (no alternatives, especially for youth). Streaming services or e.g. billiard tables could be introduced, but unfortunately, only cable TV and occasional board games are available. The hotel's standard hasn't changed for as long as I can remember, and that's both good and bad, as it's no longer 2012. It's clean and quiet, but it lacks of public amenities. In the winter you have access to a swimming pool complex, spa, cafe and bar (apparently sometimes) or find something interesting to do outside the hotel grounds by yourself. The rooms – nothing has changed, clean and cozy. the equipment has been unchanged for years, except for the removal of the minibar in favor of a mini-fridge. The air conditioning's heating option didn't worked, and the condition of the kettle, full of limescale made me lose my appetite for a tea. Restaurant - The food is very tasty and of good quality. Breakfast is plentiful, but nothing special, you can just have a simple, home-cooked breakfast. Unfortunately, on our last day, we encountered an unpleasant situation. I wanted to show my partner the "forest" room and share dessert. Not only did the waitress leave the table she was talking to with pity, but when we asked if we could use that room, she could simply and politely inform that the room is currently closed but no, we received a pretentious and brusque response: "Aren't there any free seats here?!" She then returned to her table to continue her earlier conversation. At the same time the day before, another waitress had asked the guests who had came before us if they wanted to use that room. So, the question arises: is this special treatment for select guests, contemptuous treatment of college-aged people, or both? Pool Complex - I'd say it's adequate, but only if it were fully functional. The steam room only worked on the day of arrival, one jacuzzi also didn't work one day, and the other was for "winter swimming," where there's also a third, outdoor jacuzzi that would be more suitable for that, so this winter swimming issue sounds more like a "heater is not working". The third jacuzzi, although normally unavailable, turned out to be available to selected guests. Both jacuzzis only have one button working, with the light mode being the working mode, while on previous visits all the functions were working. The square jacuzzi has adjustable pressure for each seat, but some knobs don't work, and one seat has no knob, and for some strange reason, the pressure on the right side of this jacuzzi works better. The water temperature in the jacuzzi also leaves much to be desired. The fact that the hours for adults are 7-9 PM is a joke directed at families with children and all this most likely because it is allowed to enter the saunas without clothes. Cafe/Bar - Unfortunately, we weren't able to use this place because it was closed throughout our stay, even though we were informed it was open. Once, when we returned to the hotel around 8 PM, it was open and we wanted to sit down and play some of the board games they had placed there. However, 20 minutes later, when we came back from our room, we discovered it was closed. An hour later, it reopened, but there was no staff or board games, and then hour later it closed again. The next day, we found the bar also closed and no board games. Location - Although it is very good, the price-quality ratio and the actual possibilities of using the hotel in the winter season are very poor. This is especially noticeable in the evenings, and even more so after 9 PM when the pool and restaurant are closed.

It is a very nice hotel with many images of the wisent. Room is fine, kettle, fridge and hair dryer. We could choose from buffet or á la carte. We chose the map. My husband had chicken livers beforehand and then steak with foie gras. I had cod. A very nice man in the ministry Breakfast buffet excellent! Wide choice! The bar is not really cozy but for 1 night fine

Hotel in beautiful surroundings for walking and cycling. Extensive pool breakfast buffet, evening possibility of ala carte or buffet or a little further on, within walking distance also restaurants. Pool, elevator, guarded and unguarded parking. This was for our 6th hotel in our tour of Poland, and first where there was a warm welcome, willingness and kindness to help you. There a knee injury I could not go with hiking excursion that we had already booked in advance, they have called guid and excursion is converted nasr one with car really super!! When we checked out we were asked for the first time if everything had been to our liking. Yeah, I do. You have surprised us happily.!!
