Receptionist was angry, little accommodating, there were very hard beds, the elevator stopped and worked, so we had to use the personal elevator, the breakfast had very little choice, not that one expects at a 4 star hotel, control away from this hotel...can not recommend it..

Good 2000s hotel. Not at all smart and decadent-looking. Large and well appointed rooms, excellently soundproofed (most appreciable thing) Sufficient cleanliness, but the rooms still have carpeting. Non-precious bedding for a 4 star and quite used. The reception completely absent, but kind if solicited. Perfect location for any destination. The hotel needs to be modernized, as it has everything to excel among the monotony of the new, but all the same, hotel facilities.

Very pleasantly surprised at how good this hotel was. Fabulous location, within easy walking distance of the main areas. Plenty of bars and restaurants round about. Large lovely spacious room with plenty of storage, really clean and checked every day. Soap, bodywash and hairdryer, clean towels every day if needed. Free safe in the wardrobe is always a bonus. Staff were helpful and attentive when needed. Breakfast had plenty of choice and well presented, very clean and looked delicious. Carousel and coffee shop just on the corner of the street which was beautiful at night. Sadly the bar was only open Fri and Sat nights which we weren't aware of, and we booked mid week but hey ho, there are plenty of others to chose from. However you couldn't turn the heating down and it was on full blast, so had to sleep with the full length windows open every night. Apart from that I assume once the main season starts these 2 small things will be addressed.
