Focus Gdansk Hotel

Not so good: -in the private bathroom was a cigarettes/tobacco odour, -the bathroom radiator was not so clean, - in the room were dirty curtains (little brown stains), -the hotel phone in the room doesn't work, has no cable, it looks like only a decoration:) Positives: -the room service was very kind, - electricity plugs worked.

The hotel rooms don’t lock from the inside. Me and my daughter had booked 2 nights, on the first night a man came into our room in the middle of the night. We screamed and he went out. This was so scary being two women on our own. We left and booked into a different hotel for the 2nd night. Do not book this hotel if you are women or solo. The hotel itself was clean, the bedding and pillow were like paper thin. The location isn’t great, it’s a 20 minute walk to town but the area is clearly a rough sort of town.

Perfect hotel for a city break. A short distance from the city centre, very nice to be out of it a little bit! Easy connections to the centre if you do not wish to walk. The room was very clean, had facilities to make a cup of tea and had a TV. The bathroom was immaculate and the shower was a nice pressure! Would recommend for anyone who is looking for an affordable city break.
