What can I say about this hotel that hasn't already been said. This is just an amazing place to stay. The hotel itself is just breathtakingly beautiful. The rooms are delightful and have everything you could need and more, including wine glasses, which you do not find very often. There are even fresh flowers in the room which is a lovely touch. Breakfasts are something else. If you cannot find anything you like from the vast and sumptuous buffet, or the cooked to order options from the menu, then you just cannot please some people. Lastly, and by no means least, the staff. They are an absolute credit to the establishment. Everyone we interacted with was so helpful, friendly and efficient. Special mention to Magda who is a treasure. In summary, this is a fantastic hotel - unique and individual, far superior to any run of the mill chain hotel. We enjoyed it so much we are already missing it and planning to go back again next year. Thank you to everyone for making this such a memorable stay.

We stayed here for 4 nights and the location is great for the old town. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed eating outside next to the river. The room was well maintained and very quiet. We were on the second floor and WiFi was very poor - it was almost impossible to get a response to many web pages. Housekeeping was not very good - the carpet was not vacuumed during our stay. Tea bags were not replenished and even the cups and glasses were not washed each day. They have private parking but at 100zl per night is expensive.

We stayed for 3 nights in this charming and historic hotel. The common areas are beautifully decorated and the rooms are modern and efficient. We particularly appreciated the air conditioning on days that were unusually warm for early May. The staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. The breakfasts were good, especially the cooked to order omelets. It took about 10 to 15 minutes to walk to the Royal Way, but we were grateful to be staying in a much quieter area on a busy holiday weekend.
