Stara Karczma

I stayed in this hotel few times already. Its located in beautiful Oliwa, near stunning park and between Sopot & Gdansk. Rooms are spacious and comfy, there is a lovely courtyard in between buildings where you can sit and relax and its full of character. Staff was super helpful and polite, we were also able to check in early. The only thing I would improve is to sound proving walls and windows a bit better as we could hear neighbours quite a lot and you could hear street from rooms facing it.

*Pet friendly - we traveled with a small dog. *Very nice helpful staff. *Cozy backyard where you can have your morning coffee, read a book or have a glass of wine in the evening if you like. *Great breakfast *Close to a lovely park if you want to go for a stroll. *Nearby you can also find a lookout tower, where you can get a fine view over the city. *You may park your car right outside the entrance of the hotel or on the gated backyard, which we preferred. - Hard beds - The room weren't all cleaned before our arrival, we found old pieces of candy and a plastic bottle under the bed.

All the personnels were friendly, accommodating, easy to talk with , very helpful . We were very satisfied with our stay and the breakfast . We stayed her for five days, the only downsize was they did not changed the beddings (blankets & pillows ) for the whole 5 days, they could at least have done it , one time :) and the cups we used to drink coffee, the cleaners has never cleaned it during our stay, so we have to get another new clean cups almost everyday. Nevertheless, they were all friendly and helpful. I am recommending this place because it feels like you are home away from home .
