Not cheerful at all, I felt the total opposite. The hotel stinks of damp and looks like an ex Soviet Union hostel, nothing like the photos. The old woman on the desk was rude to me because I said my portugese isn’t very good. But I understood what she did say and it was inappropriate. They didn’t give me a towel for whole week either I gave up asking and just bought one at a shop. Shower was blocked and the room was disgusting. The cleaning staff just seem to sit on the stairs always on their phones. Go stay literally anywhere even if it means paying more

Probably the most depressing and dated hotel we have stayed in. We had booked for 8 nights but had to move hotels after one night. We were in room 222. We arrived late evening and the lighting as you walked in was quite dim and wasn't inviting. The lift up was very scruffy inside. The hotel corridor reminded us of a prison! The apartment was quite big which was a good thing. The kitchen area was ok. There were a few issues we noticed straight away, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. The toilet was not attached to the floor and wobbled. The balcony overlooked a quite noisy road. The patio door would not lock and there was water dripping on the balcony there was a bucket to collect some of the drips. It was quite dirty on the balcony with black mould on the wall. So it looked like the drip had been going on for some time. The furniture on the balcony was also dirty and cracked in places. The next day we addressed the issues with the receptionist. The handy man came and mended to toilet and tried to fix the balcony sliding door. He got it to close but it wouldn't open again. He said he would get the drip fixed but had to access a room upstairs to do so. We went to the nearby beach for a while came back to the room and it was still dripping so we decided to find somewhere else. The hotel understood our reasons for moving and gave us a refund for the remaining 7 nights. As we were leaving the room to check out there was a knock on the door, it was the handyman who said he had repaired the leak. Anyway it wasn't a pleasant place to spend a holiday. We also had a walk to the pool area which wasn't being used by anyone. The sunbeds were very dirty and the pool didn't look too inviting with broken tiles. In all my years of going on holiday I have never given a bad review, we have stayed in basic hotels before and been happy. Unfortunately this hotel had a bad vibe and we decided to escape! We found an alternative hotel and had a great holiday. I'm so glad we changed hotels.

Depressing. Dirty apartment. Didn't use pool. Sat for a while outside. Shack for a bar. Outside pool toilets filthy. Felt unhealthy. Years of dirt ingrained. One lift out of order . Nice lady at reception and other friendly staff. Apartment dated. Had to put kettle on floor as no socket in kitchen. Pillow should be thrown out. I know its budget at €45 a night but please offer a clean facility that's not damaged. Bathroom worst No plug for bath which needed a good scour. Attachments broken same for bidet. Washed by sink. Balcony needed a clean and plants cleared out as dead. Poorly. Stocked kitchen. No tea towels. Not at all like the advert. I booked based on the advert and website I left after one night Guests seemed nice and content. Shouldn't have to pay for filth. Leak in bathroom, had to put towel on the floor. Sorry. Needs closing down and a refurb.
