The location is excellent, combining the silence of the village with the beach 500 meters away. The apartment is in line with what the photos show and the dimensions are very pleasant. Daily cleaning, not deep but acceptable. The less positive part has to do with the lack of light, especially in the kitchen where it becomes ridiculous, having to put the lamp on the bedside table to be able to see what you were doing in the kitchen. Another situation is related to the lack of palamenta (kitchen utensils), the packs for each apartment should be reviewed.

The Hotel is good located, only some minutes away from the beach and within 15 minutes walking distance to restaurants. There is enough space to park in front of the Hotel. Small pool, rooms okay, a small café beside the hotel, which is quite okay for breakfast. Reception not open on Sunday. Rather expensive for this kind of hotel - at least in July. Probably one of the ugliest hotels (old concrete block) on Algarve in front of the hotel. WLAN not in all rooms. Altura has a long flat beach, for us the rocky part of the Algarve between Faro and Sagres is a much better choice. One of the

We booked this apartment last minute and price was very reasonable for a family of 4. Positives: Apartment overlooking pool and only 5 minutes walk to a great beach and reasonable restaurants. Negative: beds fairly ordinary and if ur like us, u need a good nights sleep. Basically u pay for what u get.
