Balaia Atlantico

The Balaya Atlantico Albufeira does not correspond to a 4-star hotel, since the most important factor is hygiene, loose sockets, no-signal TV, furniture, various lights that do not even work, on the day of check-in the bidet tube broke, walls and grips with fat and even the freezer did not have a door to store the frozen, the whole floor, walls and furniture on the balcony, was with stools of caterpillars. After 3 cockroaches, the deprivation of sleep, the food that was laid out because of the place where a cockroach was found, the fear and anxiety of my children, in the face of these facts, I ask for the non-compliance of the minimum standards of quality and safety that Traventia analyze the situation and present an adequate compensation for the disturbances caused.

I have been twice before and we loved our stay at this hotel, staff were fantastic and the hotel was perfect with nothing to worry about. However i am booked into this hotel again in July and after reading all these review from 2025, i am really worried about my holiday now. Has this hotel really deteriated this much since my last visit in 2019? Do i need to look elsewhere to rescue my holiday? I hope not

Clean room and decent stay overall, but the sun loungers were covered in bird droppings due to lots of birds. A £100 deposit wasn’t mentioned beforehand. Lights and aircon in the room didn’t work. Location is about 10 minutes from the strip and 15 from Old Town. On the plus side, reception staff were lovely and very helpful with our late flight.
