Spent 6 nights in room 201 Block C, which is a ground floor apartment with a garden and terrace. Very near the bars & restaurants on the Marina. SPAR supermarket about 250 metres away. Apartment was clean. spacious bathroom with soap and shower gel provided. Hairdryer - not great. Large bath towels. Toilet bowl is a bit low. Bedroom had good storage space, plenty of pillows & cushions provided. Beds a little bit hard. Spacious living area. TV has BBC news and music channels. Very good secure Wifi provided. Iron, Ironing board and clothes airer provided. Kitchenette is small. good 2 ring cooker. Microwave difficult to access safely as it is within a press at a high level. Sockets positioned directly over the oven rings is not very safe. Delph in very high press - need to stand on a chair to access them. Very large cooking pots, frying-pan difficult to use as it is not not non-stick. T-towels provided. Welcomed some bottled water provided in the fridge on first day. Nice Terrace with 2 sun-loungers and chairs. Difficult to roll back the awning and the sun blocked at times by a large tree in the garden. Garden not possible to use as it was infested with ants, some of which got into the kitchen, despite lots of ant powder being in place. Safe not working. Beware Pool only available May to September. Only part-time reception. If arriving late, it can be difficult find your apartment. Block numbers are high up over the doorways.

Love budget friendly apartments. Staff were very helpful & responded to enquiries fairly quickly. The distance to the marina area is great. Loved the pool being like a resident only which you had a fob for. Our only grumble is it’s all a little tired.

We booked this hotel a few weeks before we were due to go , we originally booked a hotel but swooped as we wanted to be close to Villamora Marina , so after reading all the reviews we booked We arrived at 10.30am and was advise check in was 3pm , that’s fine that is standard in many European hotels and apartments , we left out cases behind reception and was told if our room ready early we could check in - at 130pm we were advised our apartment was ready That was great The Apartment - we were on the first floor a one bedroom with kitchen , shower room , lounge , no balcony which we knew as it’s on the website ( some rooms have small gardens but you pay more ) The air con was good felt very cool even st night The apartment was very basic The toilet which had a sink and shower in it was small and had no ventilation and I mean no window , shower was really good and powerful Towels very rough and if your there for 7 nights a property management service comes in changes your bed sheets and towels but they do not clean your room at all that’s up to you all week to clean and wash up etc and empty your rubbish outside in the big bin facing your apartments There is a microwave, cooker and fridge we did not use any of these There is a Waldrobe but again we kept our clothes in our case the whole time The swimming pool - you need a member of staff from reception to let you into the pool I think it’s privately owned as some residents of the area were there telling us they use it too which is fine by us Only 6 sun loungers sadly they see mostly broken as were the 2 unberella’s The pool is a good size and nice grass in that area the pool is about 2 min walk from your apartments across the road The apartments are 5 min walk from the marina , restaurants and nightlife so excellent location Staff at reception very nice to us but they only are there till 5pm then no one there till next day We made the best of our holiday had a fantastic time in Villamora Sadly we would not stay here again my concern is there are metal bars on the bedroom windows from top to bottom We were on the first floor facing the apartment garden , I am not sure why this is ( see photo) they are secured Aside from that it’s a place to lay your head whilst in this beautiful country with such lovely people
