Porto De Mos Apartments

TV broken during our stay. No repair. No replacement. Air-con broken too, so the room stayed cold. Fuse went every morning and alarm went off when we were still asleep. Huge disappointment. Don't book!

I stayed at Porto Mos Residence in Lagos over Christmas and the facilities were well below an acceptable standard. The TV was broken and when I reported it, I was told there was no technical support available over Christmas, so nothing could be done. The heating was not working properly and made a lot of noise, making the apartment uncomfortable cold. Hot water for showers was very limited, meaning I had to take cold showers on multiple occasions. It was warmer outside the apartment than inside! I requested a partial refund due to these issues, but this was refused. These are basic amenities that should be functional regardless of the holiday period. Overall, very disappointing experience and poor customer service. I would not recommend staying here.

No check-in instructions were given either by mail or telephone. After several phone calls to the host we were required to pay to a hotel and not to booking. Thanks to the booking information service we went personally to the hotel to get the pw of the keybox. Finally after about 2 hours we entered the room: no air conditioning; no refrigerator; with many ants and paper basket in the bathroom all rusty .... I think that's enough!
