We took a romantic weekend getaway, hotel very well located near the beach and an area with some bars, there is a pizzeria nearby that is a delight to eat at.....the rooms are large and equipped, THE ONE THEY GAVE US I THINK IS THE ONE NOBODY WANTS AND THEY KNOW THAT ONE HAS THAT PROBLEM ..IT FACES A DRY FIELD WITHOUT DEVELOPMENT WITH B-MOVIE VIEWS AND BELOW IS THE LAUNDRY AND BUFFET AREA THE NOISE ALL NIGHT IS UNBEARABLE, WE SHOULD HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT, IF THEY GIVE YOU A ROOM IN THAT PART THEY WILL RUIN YOUR TRIP, OTHERWISE THE POOL AREA IS QUIET, SMALL, THE HEATED ONE IS QUITE PLEASANT ..., THE WORKERS ARE PLEASANT, HOTEL JUST TO STOP AND SPEND THE NIGHT NOTHING MORE, FOR THAT MONEY THE ALGARVE HAS HOTELS TO CHOOSE FROM

Nice hotel, good breakfast and competent and friendly staff

We spent a week at this hotel. Beautiful rooms with a sea view balcony and a view of construction sites, but the noise was not bothersome. Breakfast and dinner were acceptable, and the service staff was pleasant and efficient. The pools and jacuzzi were enjoyable, though they might be a bit small if the hotel is full; however, we were not many, so there was always a lounger available. One regret: the reception staff was not attentive to the guests, even though there were sometimes up to five staff members for a few guests. We ordered excursions through them and requested information; either they did not know, or they provided us with incorrect information. At no point did they inquire; one may not know, but at least when selling something, one should inquire to assist the customer. Only an intern tried to do better, but seemed to fear his permanent colleagues. We requested to keep a room until 2 PM to change after returning from an excursion before our flight home, and we obviously offered to pay for this service. This request was denied without appeal. The only option was to change in the hotel’s restroom, which was not very clean at the time I went. It's a shame that this lack of consideration for the guests does not match the quality of the facilities and our expectations for a 4-star hotel.
