As soon as I saw the photos of this hotel, I immediately knew I had to go. I marked one night just for that — to meet and rest — and didn’t regret a second.
Everything matched exactly the evaluations I had read, and even surpassed. The staff is friendly and accessible in an authentic way, not manually. I had booked a single room and I was upgraded to a double room with balcony. Small gesture, big difference.
Breakfast is exactly as described: homemade, simple, no exaggerations. The kind of morning table that is no longer everywhere.
What left me was the decoration. There is a coherence throughout the space — in the hallways, in the bedrooms, in the bathrooms, in the common spaces — as if someone had thought in every corner intentionally. There's art, crochet, craft appendages everywhere. The bases of the water glasses in the rooms are granny squares.
The pool was impeccable, the hotel is very clean and has that cozy environment difficult to replicate in larger spaces. It's a place that looks like a house.
That being said, and being honest: it's not for everyone. Those looking for conventional luxury, large lobbies and international chain amenities will probably not notice this place. But those who value detail, welcoming and authenticity will want to come back.
