This hotel is not 3*.... It is a real mess and not maintained properly. Official pictures are not representative. The beds are terribly hard, so you can not rest. Some rooms have good WiFi... room 204 do not. Terrible tv signal. Some noice from the road too. Will recommend to take a hotel in Santarem instead!

I had a stay in this hotel because I had to be in Cartaxo. The owner is a nice man, friendly and helps me, but can't speak English. There was a female, but she was the opposite: no smile, no service, no friendly/warm reaction. The room had space enough (twin), the bathroom needs maintenance (mould in the shower, toiletseat broken, showercurtain nearly falls) and if you prefer a hard bed: this is granted. There is wifi in the mainlobby, sometimes with a time-out. The cleaning was good enough and every day clean towels. The breakfast was average, Some toast, but enough sweet pastries/sweets. It is a cheap hotel, but if you prefer some (average) service or a average/good sleep/bed... please look in another place. If you have a short stay, needs a necessary stay, it would be fine.

A good overnight stopover as convenient for the motorway. A little run down with the lift broken and the gardens and paintwork rather tatty. Card machine also broken do catch only- but a cheap night, good value. Rooms clean, and bed comfortable. Staff were welcoming, breakfast was continental( of course)! But plentiful, Restaurant/ bar was busy with locals as well as guests, food good, and great value. Failed to finish the huge steak, road and restaurant staff very welcoming - a good stay.
