Senhora do Castelo

My stay at was a huge disappointment. The hotel has a very beautiful location, surrounded by nature, and sincerely had everything to provide a great experience. But the reality is completely different. The facilities are clearly outdated and very worn out. The doors of the rooms are old and quite damaged, the furniture seems not to have been renovated for decades, the mattresses show immense wear and even the sanitary dishes were broken. It constantly gives a feeling of lack of maintenance. The indoor pool ends up being acceptable, though nothing extraordinary, and maybe it is one of the few things that are still minimized. But the worst of all was the bed. The mattress was extremely old, tough and made noise from the springs with every move. The rest was terrible and, in a hotel, it should be the minimum necessary. Having paid about 70€ for one night, I consider the price completely unadjusted for the level of comfort and quality offered. The hotel has potential for surrounding and views, but urgently needs deep renovation.

Expensive hotel for the conditions. Room with mat still above is stained which gives a dirty look despite good cleaning of the room. The bathtub is high for people with less mobility. Peq. lunch with some flaws. Fantastic view, only a few chairs were missing on the balcony to better enjoy.

Quiet place with a lot of green around. Large room with view and TV with multiple channels. Broad bed. Dinner is served at the card. Nice little snack and with varied options. Quiet days capable of relaxing. Large pool space. I liked it and will be back.
