Very cosy hotel with a magnificent view of the Caramulo mountain range and the CD Tondela stadium. The staff is very attentive and friendly, always available to share the best places in the region. Well located, at the entrance of Tondela.

Found this place while house-hunting, and had stayed in a few of the other local towns first...WOW I am so glad I didn't stop looking because Hotel SJ is the bEST!!! Always clean, quiet, affordable, and very well attended by a lovely staff of multilingual, kind and friendly people. Plus it's walking distance to several excellent restaurants and beautiful, sparkling clean Tondela. Excellent breakfast bar with plenty of protein and whole foods. Yummy room service options. Plenty of parking and bonus: most of the rooms have a real bathtub, for that private spa-like experience! I've stayed there twice now, for several days each time, and I'll be booking my third stay today.

Very nice hotel with a warm atmosphere. The welcome was most charming. The very spacious room with a balcony, offered all the necessary comfort and the bathroom was also large enough and all impeccably clean. The environment was very calm and no noise disturbed our dreams. As for the breakfast, it gave us complete satisfaction. A well-managed and well-maintained hotel as we would like to find more often with a very reasonable price.
