The Hotel Urgeiriça is located in the place where there is virtually nothing. It is a charming hotel, the style of English mansions, if the English were not its first inhabitants. They came to this land to explore uranium that was widely used in the world war. The hotel looks more like a museum, with works of art, furniture, candlesticks and other ornaments of classical style. The tapestries and carpets along the hallways, an authentic museum. The restaurant then surpasses everything up to the curtains.
The rooms are classic, but nothing special, I had the privilege of being on a top floor with stunning views over the nearby mountains.
I didn’t like the food very much, because being a region where gastronomy is at its peak, we could have been served with typical dishes of the region.
