Elevators without inspection for months!

Hotel Dom Afonso Henriques is family-friendly in a convenient location for visiting Lisbon. Near the Alameda stop where two metro lines pass. The only small flaw, the road is uphill to get to the Hotel, but maybe that's the beauty of Lisbon. There is free Wi-Fi, TV, air conditioning and essential for us the reception 24 hours a day. We found ourselves at 22.00 without accommodation due to overbooking on Booking. Breakfast buffet available, but we did not use it. For the problem with Booking, a special thanks to the reception and administration, very helpful and courteous.

This is the first bad review I’ve ever written, so you can trust it 😅. Do not go to this hotel. Pros • in safe location • clean enough Cons • We accidentally booked the wrong day and asked to change it, they charged us 85 euros to change days… but the cost on the receipt when we got there was only 80 euros, this was not online. • The bathroom smelled like sewage making our room smell bad • biggest con— it was SO LOUD at night. You could hear people in the hallways all night long. If you want to sleep at all don’t book this.
