Baia

My family & I just did a week in Hotel Baia we had the suite on the 2nd floor next the irish bar very noisy. I requested a change which we got on 3rd day to the suite on the other side it was perfect. The hotel has a great location, really clean & views are beautiful. The staff very mixed group, some were actually rude especially the breakfast staff. We loved the rooftop pool area. Overall the staff could be nicer as you expect in a 4 star hotel.

Hotel Baía has a lot of great qualities. It is set in a prime location in the centre of Cascais overlooking the bay. It has a wonderful rooftop area with loungers, snack bar and a small pool. Its breakfast area and options are excellent. It is clean and its staff are pleasant and helpful. The only downside is that not all rooms are the same so be careful what you book. We booked a Family Room City View for five nights as there were 3 of us staying. Unfortunately the two adjoining first-floor rooms were small and badly designed with a view, not of the town, but of a wall at the back (see photos). The room felt more like a dungeon than a bright holiday base. While the staff member I dealt with was pleasant and took note of my complaint, no one got back to me and the personal follow-up you would likely get in a smaller hotel was lacking. I would strongly advise anyone considering a stay to book a room in the front with a sea view. It may cost more but will greatly enhance your holiday experience. Avoid the Family Room City View at all costs!

This is our third one. Our year. We are very happy here. We plan to come seven more times. We recommended this place to everyone. The food was delicious. The staff were excellent, especially Nursena Hanım, thank you very much.
