Holiday Inn Express Lisbon-Oeiras

My experience with this property was deeply disappointing, especially due to the total lack of flexibility and attention toward the customer. I advise anyone intending to book to carefully evaluate the applied conditions, because in the event of unforeseen circumstances, no alternative solution or form of assistance is offered. In our case, for completely unpredictable reasons, my husband was forced to cancel the reservation. Subsequently, we contacted the property asking exclusively for the possibility of changing the guest's name, without requesting any refund. The request was rejected with the justification that, since the reservation had already been canceled, it was no longer possible to make any changes. The result was the loss of the entire amount paid, without any reasonable solution being taken into consideration. While I understand the existence of internal policies and regulations, I believe that greater availability and attention toward the customer, especially in the presence of exceptional circumstances, represent a fundamental element for quality service. For these reasons, I do not feel I can recommend this property.

We went to celebrate Valentine's Day, the check-in was a little hurried, as it was Valentine's Day I asked if it was possible to prepare anything to make our stay more pleasant, they explained that they would only do it if I paid for it, I paid and I received a bouquet of flowers in the room that had an unpleasant smell, for this we had to put the bouquet of flowers in the trash. The breakfast is good, the hotel price is reasonable and the room is cozy.

Hotel that does not meet expectations. Cleanliness is nefarious, the dining and reception chairs have dirt, there are black areas of dirt. I've never seen anything like it in a hotel before. The towels are not white, they are gray and smell anything but clean. The sofa bed is horrible, there is no way to sleep there as the surface is not horizontal, with pity. Finally the breakfast, which even having it included we preferred to pay for it and go elsewhere. The juice of powders, the sliced bread tasted like straw and the butter totally tasteless. Without words, I would not return to this hotel.
