Tivoli Palacio De Seteais

Beautiful palace, ideally quiet and yet central. Everything is equally beautiful and romantic. People very nice. We had a driver with car to visit the different locations and that arranged the hotel perfectly. Great food, good massages, blissful pool with beautiful views. Lovely beds, gardens. Beautiful decoration and historically interesting. Everything just great.

The palace was built in 1787 by the Dutch consul in Portugal, later owned by the Marquis Marialva, who expanded it by building a second building and connecting them with the Arc de Triomphe. In 1946, the palace was bought by the state and since 1955 it has housed a hotel. The hotel has a nice restaurant, spa and outdoor pool. I stayed here for two nights during a visit to Sintra.

What a romantic place . Cannot recommend enough. Excellent service and food was superb . The set up is like a fairy tale.
