My partner and I spent three wonderful days in this lovely home. The house is charming, well-kept, and fully equipped — nothing is missing! It’s also spacious enough to feel very comfortable.
It’s located in a small, quiet village where you’ll find great restaurants, bars, and a supermarket just a few steps away. The area is also very well connected to all nearby points of interest, making it easy to explore the surroundings.
If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, this is the perfect spot!
Antonio is truly a kind and helpful host — we really appreciated his availability and warm welcome.

We spent 2 nights, the key is available. Reception is not on site so call for the owner to be present. He speaks a little French.
The swimming pool is nice with a little sand at the bottom but great, you can do laps and you have relaxation areas available
Nice little garden
The rooms are simple upstairs, with windows and shutters and space for suitcases.
For hot water be patient upstairs but it is there
We park on the road but don't stress, it's normal
Good monitoring of managers
Wifi is only in the living room, it has the merit of existing but it is old. I'm not even talking about the kitchen that I won't use.
It's quiet, you can't hear the airport and it's a real luxury in this town.
No air conditioning but you are a little high up so the nights are cool
A 5-minute walk down the main street you will find a very good bakery, open early and which can make sandwiches on request. You will also find a good restaurant with a large room

We spent 2 nights at La Gaula in this establishment, very well received by the owner Antonio, who speaks French and does not hesitate to send you messages. Gaula has the advantage over Santa Cruz of not being bothered by planes and the airport, but above all of being a little at altitude and thus being really less hot. We found a very good restaurant and a good bakery and café in Gaula, what more could you ask for? The villa is very large, magnificent, all in dark stone. The large swimming pool is also very pleasant with its deckchairs. The house has 2 common rooms with a large, very well furnished living room in room 11, but which unfortunately smells musty as it seems little used. The outdated kitchen in room 18 has a fridge which can be very practical. The rooms are spacious with a large tiled bathroom equipped with a bathtub with its slightly outdated shower curtain. Our mattress was not the best with a big hollow, but it did not prevent us from sleeping well thanks to the coolness outside at night in the middle of August. Only one point to improve is that of cleanliness because we had to dust when we arrived and would have vacuumed if we had had a vacuum cleaner at our disposal. This remains good value for money with the environment offered.
