Hotel Sirius

We do not recommend this hotel. It's very poor in everything. Old mattresses, old rooms that need to be updated, the food is terrible, the staff is ok. can do better. No air conditioning or fan so in the hot weather it is horrible the heat.

The staff are lovely, helpful and the hotel is clean. However, the hotel is what you would expect for the price. I feel I have to write feedback as I do not agree with some of the advertising content for this hotel. My main point to share is that there is no air con when you might visit during a period of high humidity e.g., summer months, which made my room unbearable. Plus, the hotel would benefit from a substantial refurb regarding air con, bathrooms, shared spaces and the restaurant. The breakfast is basic, the wifi was not very good and the individual balconies are very small. To finish on a positive note, the options for dinner are reasonable and a good price. I found the people of Madeira to be very kind and helpful. It is a beautiful island!

A good environment, very familiar that welcomes everyone in a joyful and comfortable way. Very cosy rooms that serve perfectly for the purpose we went to. Quiet place where you can rest and with breakfast that facilitates and speeds up all daily activity.
