Casa Do Campo

This was a fascinating place to visit - a beautiful and gracious house and magnificent and unique topiary gardens created from Camellia plants, some of them 100's of years old. The breakfast and living room in the old house are beautiful with vaulted wooden ceilings and the original family furnishings. All in all very characterful - easy access to the Parque Natural do Alvão where we spent a day swinmming and sunbathing in the river pools above a waterfall. Friendly and helpful service.
