Very friendly staff at the reception D.Maria Heaven and Rita uns Amores!!! Room cleanliness Great!...But... Very spacious rooms with history and noble furniture, but the beds with only 135cmx1.90cm (small) the mattress and uncomfortable pillows for the price you pay! Rooms have no TV!! The lack of air conditioning makes the night a dry and warm environment, and when you open the windows predominate mosquitoes (and they were only 23nd day / 16th night) imagine in full summer! Pool and lawn very well treated,but the surrounding house very poorly treated (dirty) including the garden full of leaves and the like, as well as the barbecue and table pic Nic and surrounding to this place! Here the mosquitoes also predominate if they open the windows!! The Peq Lunch for who describes as superb at Booking....was very weak and banal!! There are many BETTER OPTIONS next to and even cheaper!!

You may like to stay here if your idea of a hotel is a night at the museum but it doesn't meet the standards you expect at a four star hotel. There is a lot of dark wood and cabinets full of crockery that light up when you pass - it's spooky and gloomy. The display in the lower foyer is macabre. The rooms are large and clean but basic - there is no wi-fi, no telephone, no tv, no kettle, no fridge. Breakfast is disappointing - no croissant, no toast, no muesli, nothing cooked. There is no reception desk, we only saw one member of staff, she tried to be helpful but only spoke Portuguese and French. The hotel is in a good position with free parking in a public car park a couple of hundred metres away. Ponte da Barca is pleasant but not really geared up for tourists, there is no tourist information or walking equipment shop. There are restaurants but some are directed at locals. It is convenient to drive to the national park.

Amazing house or castle xD definitly a stuning piece of portuguese history. The deco is brilliant . Looks really like a museum Super quiet . The ladie taking care of place is a lovely person always able to help or give some information Plus massive comun area with pool table Swiming pool outside 👌 Breaskfast room with special decor make you feel in other century Rooms pretty cousy and new bathroom with tub I think is pretty dope the spot and definitly recomend this to everyone to escape the routine and essencial to the stress you get to live in the city And to finish perfect location with free parking and also you can walk to everywhere because everything is near by Good job dna Ceu and all people involve Cheeers 👌👌
