Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino

I’ve stayed at this hotel perviously but not in the made tower, when booking it says fully renovated room- when?! The room I stayed in had a strange order probably coming from the AC unit. The room always felt damp, even the sheets and pillows felt damp. There were visible rusty spots in the bathroom on the ceiling, the paint in the room especially in the bathroom looked like there were so many coats to conceal water damage or maybe even mold. The rooms are decent but not what I would except for almost $500 p/n. On a positive every staff member I encountered was friendly and very helpful! The beach and the pool were relaxing and well maintained. The grounds and the common areas and lobby of the hotel are clean and kept up. I love PR and I enjoy visiting but I would never stay here again! *Additionally, Please take down the newly renovated on your website to say certain sections are newly renovated.

It’s unreal to pay $6000 for two rooms, 3 family members, and be charged a mandatory $65/room/day for “internet access” as a Premier Platinum member. Marriott is turning into a total ripoff to their most loyal customers.

I stayed at the resort back in April and I would never go back again. Right after checking in and going into our room, the front desk called the phone saying we needed to turn our music on the television down. Not to mention, the volume wasn’t even turned all the way up and it was only 4pm! The rooms were decent. However, staff treats guests like children! At the pool area, security confronted our group (adult couples) about hugging/touching/being affectionate saying “this is a family resort” but there weren’t any kids around nor were there any explicit physical interactions. I believe security also randomly walks the hallways on each floor monitoring the room doors. The hotel itself is a little pricey so if you are actually trying to have a good time and enjoy yourself, find another hotel to book where you aren’t micromanaged about every little thing.
