FENYO

This is an update to my 2025 review of Hotel Fenyo. We stayed here again in June 2026 and had two rooms at the 8th floor, facing the park. Our stay was a wonderful experience. The rooms are super comfortable and spotlessly clean. The TVs in the rooms have been updated to large screen TVs with cable channels. The food and service at the restaurant, as well as the included breakfast, were top notch. All staff was gracious and helpful at all times. Thank you Hotel Fenyo, we will be back!

Hotel Fenyo in Miercurea Ciuc is a 3-star hotel that is our goto place when we return to the area. It is super clean, with high quality and comfortable beds, high quality towels, amazing water pressure even at the highest floor. Ask for a room facing the park. The breakfast is freshly cooked, thoughtful and delicious. The food at the restaurant is equally great and we enjoyed it each time. The team at the front desk is gracious and helpful. This is a hotel managed with love and care. Beware that parking is paid via an app to park in front of the hotel and free if you decide to park on the hotel’s parking lot behind the hotel. The only recom to improve: a) find a solution to relocate the hockey fans, who gather in the main restaurant room before hockey games to drink and shout, to another room. We only saw this happen on a Sunday evening and thankfully, our waitress found us a quiet table in a different room when we were preparing to leave. And b) consider updating the room service menu and conditions. As good as the restaurant menu is, as poor the room service menu is. On top of that, the service add-on for the room service is not 5%, not 12%, but 30%! Come on guys, this is a sure way to run the room service into the ground at this hotel. Better remove it completely. Needless to say, we never used it. Again, our stay was wonderful and strongly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

Directly on the park, centrally located. Poor wifi on the upper floors. Nice spa with swimming pool and 3 saunas, but the entrance had to be paid for additionally. For this there were 2 bath towels and 1 bathrobe. However, there are children (also in the sauna). People with beer cans in their hands. People jump into the water basin to cool down, so the sweat collects. Cloths remain in the sauna to reserve, as the sauna with the most heat is so crowded that people even stand there. Swimming pool is big enough. Standard rooms. It was too warm in the room and the temperature was not adjustable. Slept with the window open at minus 7 degrees. Room clean and big enough. TV and fridge available. However, getting old. Breakfast was stocked with a wide selection. Priced a little too expensive. Free parking behind the house.
