I have now spent several nights at the Best Western Silva Hotel in Sibiu for the second time and am absolutely thrilled again. For me, this hotel definitely belongs among the best addresses in Sibiu. I am already planning my third stay there as well. The rooms are modern, very clean, and excellently equipped. Available amenities include air conditioning, a large flat-screen TV with German TV channels, a refrigerator with drinks, and a nice balcony with patio furniture where you can relax wonderfully. The exceptional cleanliness is particularly worth highlighting – everything was impeccably maintained in both the room and the bathroom. Toiletries such as shower gel and other hygiene products were also available. The bed was very clean, comfortable, and ensured a restful sleep. The rooms can only be accessed with a key card, which makes you feel safe at all times. The breakfast was rich, fresh, and very delicious every morning. A large breakfast buffet is available starting at 7 a.m., which can be enjoyed both in the stylish breakfast room and outside on the beautiful terrace. The quiet and relaxed atmosphere in the morning is particularly pleasant. The staff also deserves great praise. All staff members were friendly, attentive, and helpful at all times. English is spoken very well at the reception. In the restaurant, most staff members also speak English, though some only to a limited extent – nevertheless, communication was friendly and problem-free at all times. The reception is staffed around the clock (24 hours), which offers additional comfort. Also very practical is the large, free parking lot directly at the hotel, which offers sufficient space for many vehicles and is secured by two barriers. Credit card payment is, of course, possible. The location of the hotel is excellent. Despite the quiet location in a small side street or cul-de-sac, you are only a few minutes' walk from the beautiful old town. Sights, museums, churches, restaurants, cafés, as well as the city center are quickly and conveniently reachable on foot. Directly opposite are a large playground, several tennis courts, as well as beautiful green spaces and parks, which makes the area particularly pleasant. The transport connections are also excellent. Public transport is practically right around the corner. Bus No. 13, for example, goes directly to the well-known ASTRA open-air museum and stops just a few steps from the hotel. Likewise, the connection to main roads is very good; gas stations and major traffic routes are quickly accessible. The in-house restaurant also offers hot food and drinks until 10 p.m. – ideal after a long day in the city or traveling. My conclusion: An excellently managed hotel with very high comfort, excellent cleanliness, friendly staff, a perfect location, and an excellent price-performance ratio. I felt completely comfortable during both stays and can recommend the Best Western Silva Hotel without reservation. I would love to come back!

May 17th John Powell called and confirmed a room for myself and he said he talked to the manager, booking for 5 days. He called again 10 minutes before I arrived to confirm and was told it was set. I was there for a funeral. When I got there, the lady at the desk was more than pleasant and actually should be the manager, told me she couldn't find me listed. I had John call to confirm we had the right place. I was standing right there. She called the manager and he said he would take care of it when he came in. He was not a nice person. John said he talked to the manager to book it. So it would have been him. He said he checked and there was no booking and the woman that answered the phone earlier was mistaken. I said ok, well we will wait til one was available then. He said NO, we are booked up. If he was a responsible manager he would have said let me find you another room in the area. But he just brushed me off. Rude I went to another hotel, hearing what Best Western did, gave me a room immediately and discounted.

Hotel in the Best Western quality standards very good price, easy and spacious parking, nice terrace to have an aperitif, to reach the historic center the ideal is to use Uber and the price is very correct.
