Arrived at probably the coldest city on Earth, in February, Irkutsk, with the temperature at -20, with the sun shining. The Hotel looked fine, and the sign outside was made of ice, with the car park...

We stayed here for a night on a Trans-Mongolian journey. It was a fairly average hotel. The room was a little tired and basic but it was reasonably sized and breakfast was ok. And not a bad location...

I stayed in a single room and a small suite. The single room is very small indeed but I guess ok for a night. The suite was lovely and I really enjoyed staying there.
The restaurant is great but...
