I was very pleased with my out-of-season hotel stay. Stylish interior, new renovations (it should be mentioned that during my vacation there were floors and rooms where there was no renovation or renovation was under way), polite and quick service, many services creating comfort for the guest. The hotel complimentarily upgraded the room category from “standard+ by City Park” to “standard+ with balcony by City Park” (balcony French, small) (reservations were made by phone, so you can get a discount on your birthday). The room offers a side view of the sea. Medium size room, spacious enough, very cozy and comfortable. There is a refrigerator, safe, tea station (kettle, cups, tea/coffee – replenished every day), corkscrew, 0.5 bottle of water per person upon arrival. Shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, shower cap, dental and cosmetic kits, slippers, bathrobes are provided. The Wi-Fi in the room works well. Cleaning is done daily. Room's clean. The maids are very polite. The hotel wished a happy birthday by presenting a bottle of champagne and fruit. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners take place in buffet format (breakfast 07:00-11:00, lunch 13:00-15:00, dinner 18:00-21:00). The food is good. Unlimited champagne is available for breakfast! Breakfast: two types of porridge (dairy and on water), dry breakfasts, broth (with the possibility to add croutons, greens, chicken), chicken (a couple of courses), sausages, potatoes, macaroni, buckwheat/rice, casserole, omelet, boiled eggs, several types of sausage and cheese cuts, pate, vegetables, greens, pickles, fruit, dried fruit, sweets, yogurt, kefir, milk. The dishes are almost the same day by day with few changes, but the choice is sufficient. For lunch and dinner, you can pour beer from the tap, as well as white and red wine! There is a selection of meat dishes, including grills (chicken, sausages, vegetables, mushrooms), side dishes, salads, two types of soup, vegetables, fruits, sweets. It's odd that the hotel allows pet accommodation, but they don't allow pets in the restaurant. For owners, this can be a quandary. On the floor next to the elevator there is a cooler and chic live flowers. The ironing room is on the eighth floor. The hotel offers a free fitness centre and spa. The spa is open from 10:00 to 21:00. The spa has a small swimming pool-bath, hammam, sauna, cold water barrel outside. A turnkey luggage storage room is located next to the reception. Hotel entrances secured, key card lift to the floor. The hotel has a tour desk near the restaurant entrance. Descent to the sea and city beach by steps. For the elderly and children, the stairs are uncomfortable, quite long and steep. From the train station to the hotel is a 30-minute walk. There is a 24-hour deli near the hotel on Ordzhonikidze 24/2, as well as a hard drinks store. There are many restaurants and fast food on the waterfront, and there are shops with local produce (spice, tea, sweets). Located in the heart of the city, the main attractions are within walking distance (Sea Station, Winter Theatre), 20-25 minutes walking distance to Riviera Park and Arboretum.

The City Park Hotel 4* Sochi is undergoing a major renovation: very noisy, knocking down walls, drilling, working with hammers. At the same time, guests are accommodated in rooms that are adjacent to the renovation - is impossible in the room. The hotel does not respond to complaints about noise - this is the first time in my 25 years in tourism. Renovations are well under way. I recommend salting tourists to another hotel.

Friends, I'm deliberately giving you such a low rating so you'll notice that you have moments that are simply unacceptable for a four-star hotel. How disgraceful that is to me. The manager should be fired immediately. Purchase services should be withdrawn immediately. And so. Did you sleep on your beds? I was in room 318, I was falling through the bed, it's terribly soft, it's one of the worst beds I've ever slept on. And I only weigh 72 kilograms, I even had a girlfriend fall through. How could you buy mattresses like that? The blanket doesn't breathe at all. I'm lying under some plastic. Terrible. Asked for a kettle, waited half an hour. Called me back and I was told there were no kettles available. Are you kidding? No kettle? A kettle of 2000 rubles costs. You must have a thousand of them for a hotel this big. And coffee from the coffee machine? Have you tried it? It's slop. And I have a friend who's been visiting you several times over the years. And coffee is always like that. Guys, it's better to do nothing than do bad. It's just awful. Now the renovated spa center. You have no access to water at the spa. Are you kidding? You don't have water!! You have a sauna and a hamam and guests have no water. It's just a shock to me. You have a two-star hotel, tops. Who gave you the stars anyway? And the hammam stinks. At the reception spa said already complained about this problem. So the problem is not solved. Congratulations on winning first place. The worst hammam I've ever seen. I'm 37 years old. It stinks like hell. I ordered a massage. The massage was medium. It should be much better for those prices. So let's get better. I do not recommend this hotel. You won't sleep in standard rooms. The higher class rooms have nice beds, by the way. But this is what we got. It's just creepy.
