The hotel is very nice, came in 2015-2016 on New Year's Eve. We were pleased.
Now the hotel is modernized, it's better.
Checked in before 2:00.
The room was on the second floor, room 1215. For some reason, the room had one slipper and one robe, the receptionist told the girl. Later we got a second set.
The room is nice, big. Cozy.
The hotel lobby really liked it, there's a beautiful tree.
You can see the hotel has been modernized.
Breakfasts are great, there was even fish. Also a good business lunch. And there is a children's menu, if we knew about the menu, we would not have lived in the Hotel Chaliapin before (we were with a child for 1.8 months.)
The hotel location is not so close to the center, walk 10 minutes to Baumana Street.
The pool is very small, you can't swim. And we couldn't sign up. People booked it.

Good evening! The first impression when you walk into a hotel is a nice, oriental flavor. The room is ordinary, the plumbing is cheap, the bathroom smells like sewage at times. In room 1408 in the hallway, the wallpaper must have been smeared with a lot of glue. There were no bath towels, water was not replenished on the second day, but everyone was provided on request. The spa complex only got into the third day of stay, for that at least thank you. At the spa, the gym was closed, the sauna for a fee and you have to notify in advance if you have to, but no one told you at the time of appointment that the sauna was not included. At breakfast there is a sufficient range of food, but not everything is attractive, especially memorized watermelon near fish. The hotel was not much liked given such a high price, we will not come back. P.S. The lobby bar is a separate theme, horse prices, given that in another hotel, which is above the level, the restaurant could buy a bottle of champagne for the price of a glass in Suleiman Palace.

Good afternoon This hotel left a mixed impression. The location is excellent, this is perhaps the main plus. The administrators are friendly. The rooms are not very clean. Breakfast is not very varied. We wanted to have dinner on the first day at the restaurant, but it turned out to be closed for cleaning after the event - no information. A strange situation with the pool - an incomprehensible sanitary day on Sundays, and also an excellent imposed service - “the pool is cold, so we recommend ordering a sauna for an additional fee and by appointment.” We were placed in a room overlooking a construction site that worked from early morning until late evening and on weekends - and not a word was said about it when handing out the keys. The hotel is worthy of two or three stars, no more. The security guards or doormen don't even say hello when greeted.
