Only the location is excellent, in the heart of Sea Point. Aside from that, it is not even close to a 4-star category, and for being a boutique hotel, it lacks details and personalization.
Impersonal space, not very welcoming, gloomy, with little lighting. Hard, uncomfortable bed that makes resting difficult.
There are rooms with a balcony, which is tiny.
In front and beside the hotel, there are two buildings under construction, so the work starts early, causing a lot of noise, and the workers can see directly into the rooms. I believe that because of this last point, they need to relax the cancellation policy. In my case, I booked 6 nights but only used one, as it would not have been a good experience to spend the entire stay there. And for the price this property charges, there are plenty of beautiful, well-maintained apartments with reception staff in the area. I do not recommend investing in staying here.

This is a very comfortable accommodation where I spent 3 nights.
The location is very good, in the heart of Sea Point.
Our room was nice and not too small (as many others in town are), there was a small kitchenette with sink, fridge, kettle and microwave oven, so we were able to have self-catering breakfast and it’s even possible to have a quick meal.
Their private parking is not very big but we managed to park every evening, with the help from the very kind night guard.

ATTENTION! The hotel is framed by three major construction sites. One directly facing-a-vis, a second 50 meters away and the object framing the hotel from two sides is currently being demolished (and will certainly be rebuilt there).
The construction work takes place "officially" from 8 am to 6 pm on six days/week. In fact, the noise begins just after 6am and often until 7pm. In the demolition property, some work is also carried out on Sunday. (all occupied with photos and videos).
The hotel as such is good. The rooms are not quite fresh anymore but the beds are good and the staff of the house is without exception very friendly and helpful. I had no negative experience with the staff during the seven weeks of my stay.
Problem is management. When booking (via booking.com) there was no reference to the construction sites - also is on the hotel's website. I had asked the management (out of fairness to other travellers) to include a notice on the website and at booking.com. That was ignored. Also my request for compensation for lost peace on holiday (my terrace was only usable in the evening and on Sunday, the construction noise can also be heard clearly with closed windows).
I can only warn any traveler to book this hotel for at least the next two years as it is in close proximity to a major construction site!
