Protea Umhlanga Hotel

Pretty good option right on the Umhlanga strip. Really irritated that they tried to over charge me - luckily I kept my original reservation with the cost. Neighboring restaurant/bar thumping bass went on very late on a Thursday night and reverberating into the room! Very unpleasant.

Always friendly welcome. Clean rooms and best breakfast.

Stayed 4 nights in this hotel! The reception, very good Service and efficient. Restaurant, decent breakfast with top staff! The downside comes from the accommodation that the 3 nights I was forced to ask each time to clean my room which was never done before 2pm! Once the cleaning he missed twice the whole of the towels and the day after the pillowcases. Accommodation really to review! It’s a shame.
