I stayed overnight while attending a few weddings in the area, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and genuinely lovely, which made me feel right at home. The room was exactly what I needed - comfortable, clean, and perfectly suited for my stay. Overall, I had a truly pleasant time and would happily stay again.

We arrived late ie 17:30, phoned the number on the gate - straight to voicemail; phoned the number on the website - straight to voicemail and basically sat outside unable to enter. Fortunately there were contractors working inside who also were struggling to get hold of anyone. They finally got the number of a person that did respond and gave us the number. This allowed us to find the room key. At that point another guest arrived who opened the gate - the contractors were not comfortable to let us in without any authority. This whole episode was a huge frustration and I advise guests to be aware of this problem. Once in, the room was "small" but the bed was fantastic! Definite good night's sleep. Breakfast was ok and there was plenty of it. When I say ok, the scrambled egg and omelette were a bit disappointing, sausage dry due to overcooking, but ok. Certainly not bad. Given the hype of previous visitors and the cost per night, it was disappointing. So 3 star only due to frustration at check in - numbers not working and mediocre breakfast.

Very polite and helpfull staff and willingness to make my stay better! Thank your assistance to accomodate my needs with no questions asked. Will definately stay there again!
