La Splendida

The location is great but the entire property is in desperate need of some investment. Only spent one night and was happy that it wasn't more. The room was clean and the bed comfortable but everything is aging. Elevator buttons are falling out, moisture in walls lets plaster fall off in bathroom. Hope someone will take some money and bring it back to what all the pictures look like. The pictures on the website don't represent the current condition.

Nice easy-going place, the rooms are spacious (even if not totally soundproof and lacking some lights) and the staff is really caring and helpful!

Excellent location opposite the sea and close to the famous Waterfront. Very friendly staff, they even made us breakfast in the evening so we didn't have to go hungry the next day. Cape Town is a great city, we will come back. In the evening until midnight a little too loud.
