Protea Hotel Sea Point

Hi there, I wanted to share my wonderful experience with Relax & Rejuvenate Mobile Physical Therapy, which is located on the 1st floor in Suite 5. I am a repeat customer, and for good reason. After my rotator cuff repair surgery and countless physio sessions, I still struggled with limited mobility in my arm. That’s when I turned to R&R founder, Faye. Her targeted massage therapy, combined with her “show, tell, practice” method of exercises, helped me regain strength and mobility. It wasn’t passive therapy, it was active rehabilitation, and it truly worked. Her encouragement and accountability made all the difference. This past week, I booked a much-needed back massage at the beautiful Protea Hotel in Sea Point. The therapy room was warm, inviting, and perfectly calming, not overly stimulating. Once again, R&R exceeded expectations. The team was friendly, professional, and made me feel like royalty. My therapist, Talita, was a magician at her craft. She communicated thoughtfully in advance, asked about my surgery history, and during the session was completely in tune with my body, knowing exactly which areas needed extra care. The pre-heated massage bed was a dream on a cold Cape Town winter’s morning, making stripping down effortless. For 75 minutes, I was immersed in pure relaxation and rejuvenation, wishing it would never end. From rehabilitation to relaxation, R&R has been my go-to for healing and wellness. Without a doubt, I’ll be back again and again. Highly recommended!

Protea Hotel Seapoint was built in 1961, renovated in 2013, and offers 124 rooms over 6 floors. At walking distance you have beach, chilly Ocean and the promenade. Furnishings and decoration provide a nice atmosphere. Service is friendly and helpful. Street parking is free and the hotel parking is charged. Our standard room had desk & chair, tea & Lavazza, airco & fridge, wardrobe & safe, a good kingsize bed and a small balcony. We had a small bathroom with washbasin, shower & toilet. All was very clean. A good buffet breakfast is served: eggs made to order, cold cuts & cheeses, breads & toast, cereals & fruits, milk & yoghurts, juices & preserves, rolls & croissants, tea & coffee. Protea Seapoint is a comfortable hotel and we had a good stay. Recommended.

Amazing service received all round, receptionist was friendly snd welcoming, food was amazing and the spa was out of this world, therapy room, warm and welcoming, therapist runs you through and makes you comfortable ill definitely visit again, relax and rejuvanate is my new go to
