Cube Motel

So if you're thinking of staying at this hotel, you're probably looking for something budget, not luxury. If that's true then this place is more than ok. We had a big bed, proper shower and bathtub, working tv and more. Some aspects of the place made it seem like a "love hotel" (complimentary condoms, big whirlpool tub), but those things are easy to look past. Downsides: Mattresses are quite hard and the A/C sometimes doesn't cool properly. Also, don't get suckered in by the "Free Continental Breakfast". All it is is toast and a selection of jam. Plus some coffee and a bit of cereal. We found ourselves getting a proper breakfast outside the hotel more often than not. All in all, would recommend for budget minded people that are only planning to use the room to sleep at night.

Don't let the fact that this is a love motel create notions that this hotel is sleazy and dirty. Contrary, it's quite a chic place and, for the price, well worth considering. The hotel is about a five minute walk from the Motgol stop on Line 2. It's equidistant from the bustle of Seomyeon and Haeundae stations. There are a few convenience stores and restaurants around the area, but I didn't have a chance to explore them, The rooms were spacious and clean. They provided everything from towels, toothbrushes, aftershave, soaps... they also provided free water and soda. The WiFi is really fast and each room has its own router. If you're looking for a place that won't break the bank, give Cube Motel a try.

We booked a double room #503 and stayed for 3nights. Room is really spacious, comfortable bed (pillows a bit too high for us), big shower room and comes with a big bathtub too. Had a 50' Plasma tv, computer, mini fridge with mineral water (free flow) and soft drinks (complimentary). No breakfast but they do offer free coffee (using Starbucks coffee beans), bread/toast, cornflakes, milk and bananas between 7.00am till 1.00pm near the reception counter. Wi-Fi is really fast too, no wonder South Korea is rated one of the country in the world for fastest Wi-Fi/internet. Location is quite good, easy to find and just 3mins walk away from Subway. There are conveniences stores nearby our hotel and many eateries too. The staffs can't speak proper English but there's a Chinese staff (if you can speak Mandarin) to answer some of the questions.. advisable do some preparation homework before arriving Busan, otherwise language is quite a barrier there as English is not common there. For the price that we paid, this hotel is really a good bargain. Will definitely book and stay here again for my next visit to Busan.
