Hotel Yaja Oncheon

OK, some people will probably use this hotel as a love motel, but I'm guessing most people just stay here to visit Busan for a few days. Except for the parking lot entrance (without curtains by the way) and the tiny reception window, this hotel is just a normal hotel. They also seem to profile the hotel as a normal hotel, with family rooms and all. If you're doubting to go to this hotel because it may be a love motel (as we did), don't. Just go. The room was one of the better rooms we've had in Korean hotels. It was rather big, bright, and was very nicely (and modernly) decorated, with lots of wood. The bathroom was awesome, with a fantastic rain shower with loads and loads of water. The bed was Korean hard, but otherwise OK. Everything was spotless, not a single hair to be found. The location of this hotel may hot be very central, but Seomyeon is less than 15 minutes with the subway (the station is less than 5 minutes on foot from the hotel). If you leave the Myeongmyun station, take exit 3. Outside, go right, cross the highway-ish road with the overpass and take the first stairs down on your right. Near the stairs you'll find a narrow alley going down, follow this and turn left at the end. The Yaja hotel is in the first street on the right.

Hotel is clean and cosy. It's near Lotte mart. The room was pretty big considering that Korea's hotel rooms are relatively small. Very interesting deco and a huge variety of channels on the TV. The train station is near and it's convenient to travel around.
