Songjung Hotel

We booked a room with futons for a family of four. It was clean and quiet and very practical as our main purpose was to take surfing lessons. The surf school is in the same builiding and the beach is across the street. With it being record heat in Korea during our stay, the A/C and the complientary bottled water was very much appreciated. Also, for booking the surfing lesson, we got 10% off of the hotel. (They offer 20% off-peak). We had a good stay. Compared to the other busy beaches in Busan, we found this one to be quiet and nicer for families.

This was a conveniently located hotel. It was close to the beach, had a great view, provided a comfortable bed. Restaurant and coffee shop were located down stairs. A no hassle place to stay. We stayed two nights and the rate was reasonable. I would stay here again.

Our room was large and faced the ocean. I think some of the other rooms were a bit smaller. We are glad we got the room we had due to having children. The hotel is old but it is clean and cheap. There is a Starbucks next door and down stairs is a burger place with good food. The beach is across the street and it was nice and quite. Not a place to party so much but nice for a family weekend get away. We will be back.
